Who these lessons are for

You’ve just moved to Brazil, or you’re about to. You already work here, and meetings, clients and suppliers all happen in Portuguese. Or you have very little time to go from zero to functional.

Mastering even some Portuguese sets you apart, and earns eager cooperation from peers, clients and suppliers.

How it works

We start with a careful assessment of your needs and goals. Your lessons begin exactly where you are, even if that’s zero, with a teacher chosen specifically for your case, at times that fit your schedule. Progress is tracked lesson by lesson, so you can see it rather than just feel it.

Every class is live and online, and nothing is recorded. Our goal is simple and measurable: that you understand and are understood.

Portuguese for work

Most of our students need Portuguese where it matters most: meetings, projects, clients. Your lessons are built around your real professional life, so what you learn on Tuesday you can use on Wednesday. One of our students arrived in Brazil speaking no Portuguese. Six months later, he had delivered two full consulting projects in the language.

Can I start from zero?

Yes. Many of our students arrive speaking no Portuguese at all. Your program starts exactly where you are.

Are lessons online?

Yes. Every lesson is a live online session with your teacher, never a recording. You can join from anywhere.

Can lessons focus on my industry?

Yes, that’s the point of a tailored program. Your teacher builds lessons around your work: the meetings you run, the clients you talk to, the vocabulary of your field.

How fast can I reach working Portuguese?

It depends on where you start and how often you study. Some of our students reached working Portuguese within months. After your assessment, we’ll give you an honest estimate for your case.
